Yes in this context demisexuality might be useful for people to match with their needs. You can hear the issues of couples, whose needs don't match and it can be sometimes a reason for a relationship to break. But this shouldn't be used as a LGBT identity. It isn't. It's only a way to describe how you experience your sexual orientation already. This is why I just prefer the simple hetero-, homo-, bi- and asexuality as these just only tell you who you are attracted to and this determines if you're a part of LGB-T community. I disagree with the idea of putting all non-straight identities there. I consider heterosexuality and asexuality to be non-LGBT identities and I really don't get why Tumblr girls seethe with rage if you dare to say it. Tumblr kweers try to find evidences how asexuals have been somehow opressed by evil straights but I find it funny how they never considered asexuals could also take part in opression of LGB people and just normally sexual heterosexual by imposing the culture of shame around sex and sexual desire in the past. Do they really think no existing asexual applauded that? This needs to be considered no matter how enraged it would make these kweers if they hate lurked this sub and saw my comment.
