Absolutely, they have to be extremely vigilant about it. They're constantly targeted, even to this day, that's likely a big part of them cycling through mods and updating rules the way they have. It's exhausting, and can really wear on the goodwill of even the most dedicated mods.

When r/detrans got banned for a few hours (part of the July 10th purge when we got banned too), Bardfinn tried to claim it through RedditRequest. I shared all about it here: https://saidit.net/s/AgainstHateSubreddits/comments/5cb0/campaigns_to_get_subreddits_banned_for_hate_then/

Wow.

A 46 year old man obsessively hating on two 20 year old young women like he does is rather creepy actually.

Completely agree with that other commenter.

Related-- I checked s/againsthatesubreddits out of curiosity and saw this post suggesting that people like Bardfinn who actively collect data about users and suggest them for banning/comment removal on the basis of their opinions may be violating UK law. Very interested to see how everything plays out.

Have to say, I'm so glad we're actually starting to see some change... even if it's slow. This time last year, I was feeling pretty hopeless about the whole thing. It makes me so sad to see the extent to which LGB people are censored off of social media.
