Great article.

My concerns are three-fold. First, and most importantly, Stonewall’s influence is undermining our ability to keep our patients safe. Secondly, it stifles free speech and creates a culture of fear amongst some staff. Thirdly, it gives misleading and potentially unlawful advice, opening up NHS organisations to litigation and reputational damage.

I suspect the last was behind some of the first companies to dump Stonewall. I suspect more of the later wave were doing it because now they had a decent excuse.

Agreed. Corporations are happy to virtue signal and ignore the costs to women and gays when it costs them nothing to do so. When it costs them, they'll start thinking critically.
