Ok so does anyone on here know what the straw that broke the camels back was? Why now? Stonewall is finally getting its ass kicked with multiple people condeming them, multiple institutions abandoning them but im sure they were always scummy. Did they piss off the wrong heterosexuals? I highly doubt it was gays and lesbians. Or were the gays and lesbians secretly waiting for some societal gear to punch them in the face like that Maya Foster woman? Why are all these people getting so brave now?

Probably a domino effect, people see some victories nd her brave enough to take a stand.

Keira Bell's case.

Agreed. I think it just took a few months for the ripples of Keira's case to start disturbing everything else in the pond. That was what got several countries to start changing their policies on transgender medicalization of children under 16, which stirred things up further. Allison Bailey's case and the LGB Alliance's status as a charity also helped.

edit: I'll also add, all this is great, but I'd love to see some similar progress across the actual pond, i.e. the Atlantic, over here in the US, lol.

I think it's an accumulated bunch of things, and it's ongoing. Most people, "normies", are slowly becoming aware more and more aware of batshit TRA demands and initiatives, news sites are covering them more (even if they're tabloids like the Mail, I approve). The more people know, the more they're turned off, and the way the TRAs are literally going for peoples' kids, it's about time. People are pushing back.
