Which is ironic, because in America and other western countries, non-white racial and ethnic groups are more opposed to TQ rights and activism than white people.

That's not quite true in the U.S. Hispanics and Asians, at least the ones I've been around, are very receptive to gay men who transition to being women but are cagey with regular gay men.

Most third world countries that U.S. immigrants hail from have a lot of gay transwomen and they're seen as special people and less controversial than average men seeking relationships with other men.

Don't give people too much credit, is what I'm saying.

Good point. It is disturbing that people would rather a gay man be something he’s not than be someone who he is.

This is probably because there are a lot of religious and/or conservative cultures where becoming trans is seen as an acceptable cure for being gay, and that it would be less embarrassing than accepting being LGB.
