I've said this many times, but in the conservative Christian environment I grew up in "asexuality" was encouraged and rewarded.

This is being caused by liberal parents harassing their kids because they aren't sexually maturing fast enough. They think something's wrong with their kid if they aren't having sex by Junior year. I do think there is an aspect of homophobia to that as well, if your child is 17 and not having sex they must be gay. So obviously push them into straight sex as hard as you can or force them to come out. Like Eddie Monsoon telling Saffy to come out as a lesbian "so I don't have to keep explaining you to my friends."

I think all of those stats about anxiety and "tension at home" are likely accurate. Asexuality is not an orientation though.

Asexuality is not an orientation though.

I do know two women who've told me that they've never experienced sexual attraction. They're not TQ+ attention seeking weirdos, it's just how they're wired

If it's not too personal, do they get horny at all? If not, it seems like a medical issue. If so, what is it exactly that turns them on?
