In case anyone doesn't know what "WoLF" is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women%27s_Liberation_Front

That article had a bit more right-wing slant than would seem prudently objective, though, using terms like "the culture wars" and giving a nod to a conservative base in reference to same, when the issue is supposed to be about the health and safety of kids. So that was a little confusing given the other statements in the article which expressed such concerns. Who cares which part of the political spectrum is happy now? /rhetorical

I didn't initially pick up on that probably because I've seen those terms thrown around so much but I think you're right: focus on the issue instead of partisan politics.

To be fair, the 2 uses of the term "culture war" were quotes from legislators before it was brought up in the phrase "many had been unaware of the culture wars" in the final paragraph.

Not sure why anyone should care what the opposite side thinks (whether it's conservative christians or whoever). Don't people have their own principles anymore, or has that all been outsourced to social media!?

Ah, I might have missed that last mention. Just hoping this news source doesn't nuke its own credibility.
