Of course lesbians were concerned about women's rights, we are women. Lesbians weren't just oppressed for being homosexual, but also for being female. Gay men didn't give a shit about women's rights, who else were lesbians supposed to work with but other women?

Yeah, back again to the bullshit that lesbians should have abandoned women's rights to focus exclusively on gay men. Women's rights are inextricably tied to lesbian rights, but it's not like gay men were going to help us with those.

Lesbian rights and women's rights are tied together. Asking to focus exclusively on gay rights is asking to focus exclusively on gay men's rights. If we got gay rights without women's rights lesbians would still be oppressed and gay men wouldn't.

that seems as fucking stupid as saying gay rights are tied to heterosexual men's rights when theyre clearly not since the most psychotic forms of violent homophobia are reserved for gay men by straight men. If you see yourself more of a woman than a lesbian then dont interact with gay people and the gay community and go with your best buddies the straight women who sneer at you with massive disgust in the gay clubs
