Why the fuck is this called a feminist declaration? When the fuck did pedophilia become a feminist position? I fucking hate libfems...

HIV transmission non-disclosure and exposure

I'm sorry, they want to make it legal to intentionally mislead someone into sex with someone who is HIV positive?

The HIV thing makes sense if you think about it. They want to make it legal to keep trans status a secret from partners. This is a similar situation, although I would consider the HIV secret much worse, since you are stuck with it for life, but that's probably the point. If it is ok to keep HIV status secret, why not trans next? It's not as big a deal as keeping HIV a secret (still a big deal though) so if they can get this through, trans non-disclosure would likely be a piece of cake

It's not as big a deal as keeping HIV a secret

But it is a big deal. Sure you do not contract a deadly decease that needs medication and management for life, but in case of stealthing as trans you just got raped by deception. I do see that as big deal.

I agree, and that's why I said "still a big deal though" right after the part you quoted. Sorry if I wasn't clear, but that was supposed to refer to trans non-disclosure. Both are definitely a big deal

In my country hiding HIV (or any other dangerous infections) from a partner or on jobs with high traumatism (where often cuts and blood around) can considered as attempt to murder in some situations or murder if person died. If person did not knew they had such disease - it can be seen as manslaughter instead if other person died and they will still pay compensation and partially paying for treatment.

We had this law because during HIV crisis we had drug addicts pricking other people with HIV-positive needless or cutting themselves and throwing blood on others, and later we had few men sleeping with many women and not saying they are HIV positive. So lawmakers made this law, and to HIV added other high risk diseases or deadly diseases. So if you will have smallpox, got diagnosed with it and then you go to a grocery store where a lot of people - you will be jailed after you get cured.

Same with rape by deception, it is crime and prosecuted even more strictly than regular rape (because all rape cases that have violence, manipulation, power position or coercive control included are considered heavier crimes than regular rape).
