It’s frustrating because everything is so blatantly one-sided. There’s zero discussion and not even a halfway honest look at what the opposing viewpoint is.

My best friend is a journalist for public radio and I have a couple of other friends in journalism. Knowing them, I think they actually believe they are honestly reporting. They’re so saturated with the same far-left opinions that they think it’s normal and everyone else is a far-right fringe minority. They don’t even seem to get that most Americans disagree.

Honestly? It's all based on money and power, especially for the media. It doesn't matter if you spend seconds on the site, they've already gained a metric they can bring to their advertisers for more money. It's also why a lot of what gets discussed here is suppressed on reddit, because going against the trans movement isn't profitable. I know that's grim haha, which is why I switch of sometimes.
