I’m an American and I’m so frustrated that our news has lately been dominated by articles like this: https://www.npr.org/2021/03/28/981225604/its-hurtful-trans-youth-speaks-out-as-alabama-debates-banning-medical-treatment

All these articles have the common theme of “only trans feelings matter” and “this is an LGBTQ+ issue.”

Why is it only the trans feelings that matter and why are we drug along for the ride?

What about the feelings of the 80+% of kids who will outgrow gender dysphoria, but unnecessarily had their bodies irrevocably altered?

What about the feelings of doctors, therapists, and psychologists who don’t want to go along with this, but are afraid of losing their careers if they speak up?

What about the feelings of GNC kids?

What about the feelings of female athletes?

What about the feelings of parents who don’t want take extreme action with a gender dysphoric kid? What about the parents who don’t want schools to lie to them about what “gender” their child is at school? What about the parents that don’t want their kids to be taught gender pseudoscience? What about the parents that don’t want their kids changing and showering with members of the opposite sex?

What about women’s feelings in regards to being told we’re “menstruaters,” “vagina-havers,” and “birthing people?”

What about the feelings of scholars who are having their research stifled?

What about the feelings of service members who aren’t comfortable showering and sleeping next to members of the opposite sex?

What about the feelings of prisoners?

What about the feelings of people in homeless shelters?

What about the feelings of college students in dorms?

What about the feelings of men and women in public locker rooms, changing stalls, and bathrooms?

What about the feelings of intersex men and women who keep getting thrown under the bus for trans feelings?

What about the feelings of LGB people? Why don’t our feelings matter in regards to our spaces, history, and sexual boundaries? Why don’t our feelings matter in the language used to describe us? Why don’t our feelings matter on any of this when we will be the ones to bear the brunt of the backlash?

Why aren’t we allowed to speak out without being called hateful? Why do we have to be linked, against our will, to a movement that not only fully disregards us, but flagrantly disregards 99% of the population?

What about REALITY? You can't change sex. The end.

I'm in the USA too and like you, seeing that daily and feeling the same way. Horrific misuse of LGB to try to push their Frankenstein agenda.

And notice how when the mainstream media are paid to say one thing and one thing only, the way their system operates. Then realize every time they all parrot the same narrative, word for word, that you're being lied to then too.

It’s frustrating because everything is so blatantly one-sided. There’s zero discussion and not even a halfway honest look at what the opposing viewpoint is.

My best friend is a journalist for public radio and I have a couple of other friends in journalism. Knowing them, I think they actually believe they are honestly reporting. They’re so saturated with the same far-left opinions that they think it’s normal and everyone else is a far-right fringe minority. They don’t even seem to get that most Americans disagree.

Honestly? It's all based on money and power, especially for the media. It doesn't matter if you spend seconds on the site, they've already gained a metric they can bring to their advertisers for more money. It's also why a lot of what gets discussed here is suppressed on reddit, because going against the trans movement isn't profitable. I know that's grim haha, which is why I switch of sometimes.

Completely fucking agree. It is so, so depressing to see the narcissistic entitlement manifested by the transgender movement so slavishly praised in every. fucking. article. I open up Chrome on my phone and see an article about a single attack on a transwomen, when they make up a tiny fucking minority of "LGBT" hate crime victims. I'm so sick of it. And then I go to work and hear completely off-topic remarks like "we can never talk about trans rights enough" from patronizing far-left people and I'm like. Can you please virtue signal harder? Waft some of that holier-than-thou attitude over here, I didn't quite catch it the first time, thanks.

I feel you, a lot. It feels like a lot of progress made by both LGB activists and feminists is being eroded away, not just from the usual suspects of conservatives and religious zealots, but by liberals who have lost all common sense in favor of “woke thought” and incessant, aggressive trans “activism”. It’s not surprising to see misogyny and homophobia, but this new concept of wrapping it up as “progressive thought” is especially insidious. It feels like this insanity is coming from every angle and it’s hard to escape. I know it’s a cliche, but it really feels so Orwellian, and Big Brother is now Big TransMother.

I think we'll start seeing more and more Keira Bell type people coming out of the woodwork over the next several years, but considering that most of the people that are getting caught up in the "you're not gay, you're trans" thing seem to be teens, it will probably be a while before they come into their own and realize what a horrible mistake they made and how badly they were misled.

Yes a pregnant friend keeps posting trans bullshit this month. This is our month and they have to get their man paws all over it.

I just keep reporting the "infographics" as misinformation and blocking the pages.

This shit is unreal. Homegirl lost a baby just previous to this pregnancy and now she is defending these kind of assholes who have fake pregnancies and "losses". These men even take maternity leave that many real women can't get!!!

I am sick of it.

I’m also sick of the fact that they decided we’re now all “queer.” When I dared ask why this label is applied to gays and lesbians I was told “because we’re a young generation and we made that decision.” Off topic: why does every single transgender person have a manga image as their pic on Twitter? If they’re so proud of their identities, why not show your face?
