Gays cant afford to make the same mistakes as jews or women because we're too small a minority.

How many Jews do you think there are...? They are a pretty tiny minority as well, worldwide; in the US where I am, they are definitely as tiny a minority as LGB people, or even smaller. There are certainly not as many as there are women, that's laughable.

This is about heritage. About belonging. About community.

No, it's really not, primarily it's about SAFETY and about the truth. I want to be able to say, "I'm same sex attracted and I'm not attracted to transwomen because they're male" without having to fear being fired at work. I want to be able to hop on a dating app and not have to fear predatory men in wigs stalking me. I want to be able to speak openly about biological reality without being accused of so-called "transphobia". THAT'S what this is about, for me and for many others. Heritage is interesting but ultimately it takes a backseat to the more immediate safety concerns.
