Thank you. I will admit as well, I may be a little overly suspicious of straight women because one of the most homophobic people I know is a straight women, and her aggression towards lesbians really did a number on me.

In fact, a lot of lesbians actually get along with men quite well and certainly don't "hate" them in any capacity. It is quite irritating when you have to explain that, no, this isn't a political statement; this is literally just my sexual orientation.

Yeah, exactly! I have many friends who are men; it's not like my sexual orientation is some sort of stance against men. All too often I hear "woke" or "queer-identified" women in my neck of the woods saying stuff like "Ew who wants to date men! Women are so much more fun and so much better" and I'm like.. 1. that's benevolent sexism 2. homosexuality is not some sort of fun choice. So tired of it lol.
