I witnessed this firsthand back in the day - I used to work in a childcare place in the ‘90s, and these children were coddled and catered to an insane (to me) degree. I grew up in the ‘80s when we didn’t have that kind of helicopter parenting, but ‘90s and ‘00s parents I interacted with were crazy indulgent and protective of their little princes and princesses.
