Tbh these guys (if these stories are real. It's Reddit and it's trans people, so there's a good chance any of their stories are fictional) are being way too lenient. If I arranged to meet up with what I thought was a guy, only to be greeted by an obvious woman, I would just ask where (dude) was. Force her to address the issue out loud.

I don't care if it'd make a scene. These people are malicious and deserve to be shamed for it.

Yeah, it's always safe to assume these stories have at least some made up or at least exaggerated elements. They're telling it in a way that puts them in the best possible light, which may not always be the most truthful telling...
