The bill goes to the Senate, where it will likely not be passed because the GOP is guaranteed to vote against it. Don't want to knock on wood though, because there's enough Big Money behind TQ+ that there may be surprises.

Please do not count on the GOP to knock down the Equality Act! I read that the gender lobby/Democrats are now bringing in their corporate ties to strong arm GOP senators.

So PLEASE Americans, call your Senators no matter if they're Democrats or Republicans and say NO to the Equality Act, NO to erasing away the gay!

Boycott these corporate donors.

HRC has a list of corporations and organizations supporting the Equality Act. There are some surprises on there.

Let me find the list and post it as a stand alone.

EDITED TO ADD: I haven't found the full list yet, and can't access this article myself, but this might have some information on corporate sponsors of the Equality Act in 2019.

They only need a majority, right? The Woke have a majority, don't they?

That depends on whether or not the GOP chooses to filibuster. If the Republicans don't choose to filibuster, then yes there'd only be a simple majority to pass. (Harris would inevitably vote yes to break the tie.) However, there's a couple of conservative democrats in conservative-heavy districts that might not want to risk voting yes for it and would break ranks from the party. Wokes definitely have the majority in the House, not so sure about the Senate.

Thanks for the info and please let a few brave souls stand up to this (or scared of losing their election-- maybe not brave, maybe cowards!) or better yet, the Senate should let the bill die on the vine.
