What's the difference between trans* and trans? Does trans* come with a disclaimer? Is this some joke of an advertisement now?

"Trans* male

*Is not actually male, is 100% a female with breasts and a vagina but says she's a male for attention. Side effects inlude anxiety, sweating, and nausea."

Your guess is as good as mine. That and the "woman" and "womxn"

I think I heard of womxn a while ago about a bunch of women choosing not to have "man" in their title, so they made womxn to avoid having any association with men.

It's the only option for women born women on the Her dating app. No woman option, just womxn, but trans women get to use trans woman, not trans womxn, because of course they get to use the actual term.

Wait what? The dating app for women now doesn't even acknowledge that women exist? I am so glad that Scruff hasn't gone that far, but fear it might. This is all going so out of control so fast now.

That's kinda funny, though.

Womxn is used for ladies because it's no longer a kangaroo term for men.

But trans women use the original form, with men within it.

I think that was "womyn", it was a thing in the second wave of feminism. I've heard "womxn" explained as that somehow "women" doesn't include transwomen despite the "TWAW" thing, so idk… TBH I feel like they really just like to throw an x into words ¯_(ツ)_/¯ (like "folx")
