wonder what the link is between white dudes and being trans

This is strictly anecdotal of course, but from what I can tell, the link isn't so much between white dudes and being trans as between white dudes and being "transbian" (see censorshipment's earlier observation along these lines).

By contrast, black dudes with ladyfeelz are rarely, if ever, "transbians"... because they seem overwhelmingly to be gay. (At least that's my impression.) Not that all white guys who "identify" as women are straight (Blaire White comes immediately to mind)... but this sure accounts for a lot of 'em.

Does it look this way to anyone else? And, if so, what do you think the explanation is? Why are the dudes declaring themselves women likely to be straight if they're white, but gay if they're black?

Well, social justice in general is an overwhelmingly white phenomenon. It’s probably the fact that predominantly-white social circles are the least likely to reject someone for being a “transbian”. The issue then compounds over time. It’s the same reason, probably, that non-binary is an overwhelmingly college-educated thing.

All the girls in Irreversible Damage are that same demographic: heterosexual, white, middle-class, but they are the female half of the phenomenon. Outside the West transexuals are almost never heterosexual (while in the West most are) & none are binary, since they are not referred to as either men or women. So when some heterosexual binary transgender person tries to tell us their kind have aways existed, it's just a lie.
