maybe they do it because they genuinely find certain distinguishing racial features less attractive than others.

True in my case. For example, I typically find hairy bodies much more sexually appealing than smooth ones. This ends up excluding one very large racial group. Nothing personal - happy to have these people as friends - but they won't do much for me sexually.

I'm the opposite, I can't stand body hair (on myself OR partners) which makes me "exclude" a lot of people, and I often get told by feminists, TQs and internet idiots alike that this is wrong and "pedophilic" of me because "adults are naturally hairy!" and my preference means I'm "forcing people to look like children."

It's ridiculous.

Age/"youthfulness" is a factor, imo. If you're fucking someone who looks like a child/pre-teen, that's questionable. That's why I have an issue dating short women and Asian women... a 21-year-old Vietnamese chick wanted to visit me from Australia (I live in the US), but she looked so young. She was only 4'8" (I'm 5'8") and her body looked like she was still going through puberty. I just couldn't see her as an adult.

What if you both look that way?

If you want to get pedantic, some might consider me to "look childish" because I didn't develop masculine characteristics at puberty. If people were to see me as female, then sure, I could probably pass for a 20-something female. Maybe. But they don't see me as a particularly "mature" guy, that's for sure.

So if I like my guys short & androgynous, does that make me a pedo or no?

And that's where it's perfectly OK. If you have a known preference for some feature that is either highly present in one race or not in another, then that's apparent racial discrimination as a consequence of a legitimate preference. I assume that if someone from that racial group was outside of the norm and had a hairy body, you wouldn't immediately reject them?

The problematic part comes in when people make blanket statements of "Oh, all [race] are hideous and I would never date one of those [slur]s!"

Unfortunately, some people can't tell the difference between the two situations

It's all hypothetical anyway since my husband is a hairy balding white guy with a beard and I doubt he's going anywhere soon.
