Oh wow I didn't even check the removed comments! That's even worse.

Looks one of the removed comment users also made a post about r/BiologicalLesbians on r/TrueOffMyChest. I'm tempted to reach out. https://www.reddit.com/r/TrueOffMyChest/comments/khuwzw/women_who_are_cis_born_female_and_lesbian_deserve/

Also, I'm actually working on a post right now about how many posts on AL are by trans people and/or about trans subjects. Are you looking for examples of trans-identified males LARPing as lesbians, or bisexuals/straight women identifying as lesbians?

Both but I guess the more pressing need is the former. My friend is sending me on the daily screenshots of the trans people she comes across on dating apps but she’s having a hard time not wincing at “misgendering” and not realizing that these ARE what the majority of trans women these days are, not just a few bad apples. I’ve been trying to get her to realize how homophobic it is that we have to pretend that these people should be in our dating pool. She mentioned that we can’t really say that out loud and I got her to acknowledge how fucked up and homophobic that is especially when the pressure comes from orgs that claim to represent us.

We had a long talk recently about Tavistock and the medicalization of GNC kids and that had the most impact on her as she accurately pointed out that that would be her. She only wears men’s clothes and has always been into “boys” things, and it’s been a long road to get her conservative family to accept her.

I also told her about the Keira Bell case at a high level and linked to the judgment (since we’re both lawyers) after asking her if she heard of it. She hadn’t. I pointed out how weird it is that the case is being totally ignored in the U.S., not even LGBT orgs complaining about it.
