loads of these people are going to be middle aged trainwrecks wondering why nobody wants to hire them for a white collar job.

From what I've seen, they are passing laws that you can't discriminate against body modification in hiring. It seems to me that a private company can present whatever image they like (you know, freedom), but now that the law says you have to call men "she" and other gaslighting, the Woke shall rule over us all.

Well, they can pass as many laws as they like ... but how will someone be able to proof they were not hired because they were wearing a septum piercing during their interview? The Company will theoretically always be able to present an applicant for the job that had the same or better qualifications for the job, but looks more ... appropriate?

I mean ... I have turquoise hair, and I'd say the colour of my hair does not mean I can't do my job. But if I'd ever have to apply for a new job, I'm aware that my appearance could make it difficult for me, and I'll either have to change my hair or accept that people will judge me for the way I look.

At the same time some of the bigger companies are intentionally hiring people perceived as "diverse" in some way over more qualified candidates.

I was going to post something interesting happening on Twitch but I figured it would get removed for not being gay focused enough. Basically Twitch has spent recent years bending over backwards to hire "diversity officers" and pushing streamers who are weird narcissistic fetishists.

Now we just learned that some of their biggest streaming talent is getting suspended or banned over dmca because there are bots dinging content which is "deleted". Basically all streamed content becomes permanent saved on their servers and can be found by bots. If they bothered to hire decent engineers and programmers over these years this could have been stopped but they were insistent on hiring useless positions with a bunch of blue hairs.

Can you cite an example of these laws? I haven't heard of any. I am a professional with piercings I got all age 20 and earlier but I had the foresight to get tasteful and/or hidden ones.
