I once bumped into a woman on reddit who was attracted to effeminate men, trans-women (only because they're effeminate men), and NB / androgynous men. She said she was 18 but sounded younger. Wtf is going on here? Is this some weird version of autoandrophilia? E.g. they attracted to the idea of being male, so they have some sort of pseudo-bisexuality? Or maybe, they're intimidated by men and find relationships with women safer and more familiar, and this is the safest way for them to be attracted to men.

From another post by the op:

I like girls. I’m not sexually attracted to them but just find girls very attractive and just overall better. I have watched lesbian porn and found it nice but not extremely arousing. Anyways, I think I’m 90% attracted to girls and idk about the last percent. There are some boys I’ve found cute and have thought about dating but at the end of the day I’d rather be their friend.

But to conclude, its just weird how I don’t get that same butterfly feeling for girls as I do boys. I know i like them but I just cant wrap my head around it.

Weird how I don't get that same butterfly feeling for a member of the same sex, like I do for members of the opposite sex. How strange for a lesbian like myself!
