One time, I watched a patron at my library lean over and steal a tchotchke off a staff member’s desk. I called him out and he denied it. Then I played back footage of him doing it from our security cameras and he denied it. Then our director made him turn out his pockets revealing that he did have the stolen item. He still denied doing it.
