What's the dirt on the New Yorker? I cannot keep all of the publications with "New York" in the title separate in my mind.

Last time I read it was in a high school lit class. I just thought most of the articles were really pretentious. One of the ones I read had some kind of postmodern poetry, which I am not a fan of. If I can find one of them I'll link it lol.

I think their scientific articles can be ok, since it's mostly just facts with a literary spin. Overall, though, I think the New Yorker (magazine) has a heavy liberal bias, to the point that it makes the NYT (newspaper) look conservative. Also I often mix them up too haha.

I had a NEW YORKER subscription for years. It used to have a lot of interesting articles about a variety of topics, but then I noticed a slant and felt I was being manipulated so ended it.

Almost all US media has been bought by special interests, like Big Pharma now, even media on the Far Left (looking at you, Democracy Now! - spokes-media for Trans, Inc.) so it's difficult trying to wade through the propaganda.
