First of all, I am relieved that there were no changes made for the announcements in Japanese. But they have still pandered. English is probably the most widely spoken second language over there, so this could still open the floodgates for woke culture to spill into Japanese culture. Not to mention the fact that it’s just another example of Japanese businesses contributing to this parasitic trend of woke political correctness that is rampaging throughout the Anglosphere. Sure, there’s a chance that they won’t be affected within their own country and culture, but clearly they’re okay with it happening in the Anglosphere as long as they can profit off of it. And that’s no good at all. Just a reminder that Sony, one of the wokest companies out there, is headquartered in Japan.

Someone else misusing the LGBT term.

I could almost guarantee you this came about because of genderspecial weebs (ie, regular heterosexual people but with blue hair and a fancy for cartoon gay/lesbian porn) having an aneurysm over the phrase "ladies and gentlemen".

It's kind of inconsequential overall. The article is kind of a word salad of terms though and doesn't even really make sense even if you subtract the whole QT+ ideology while reading it.

Some travellers will question the significance of announcements most passengers can't understand. However JAL becomes the first national company to take such a step on gender parity.

See this is such nonsense. They started out with the parity of "ladies and gentlemen" and switched to an ambiguous term "everyone" but the article calls a step away from parity to a singularity as a step to parity???

So same sex marriage is illegal but ANYWAY it's more important we don't offend some nonexistent English speaking enby on the Japanese airplane!

If english speaking enbies are offended by hearing "ladies and gentlemen" on the plane trip to Japan, I can't imagine how their mental state would be when they arrive at their destination and realize how few fucks the Japanese give about genderspecialness.
