I've written off a lot of dictionaries that have gone woke. Merriam-Webster was never on my radar anyway since it's a dictionary of American English, but now I have even less of a reason to consult it. Dictionary.com was the same; they removed all references to 'homosexual' across the website in favour of 'gay sexual orientation', 'gay man', or 'gay woman'.

I get quite angry when people tinker with dictionaries in this way, because it betrays a lack of understanding of what a dictionary is and how it is supposed to work. It's disappointing that the lexicographers (among other groups, of course) who should know better are bowing to activist pressure. Language changes from the bottom up, and a dictionary is supposed to document that. People say 'literally' when they actually mean 'figuratively', so it's right that dictionaries include the definition 'figuratively', however ridiculous the purists may find that.

Dictionaries are not authorities who hand down proclamations on how language should be used, despite public misconception. English, in its wisdom, does not have a language academy.

True that same dictionary apparently wants to redefine the word racist to claim black people cannot be racist, which everyone knows is not true.

Not enough apparently, you have to add "pro-trans" to everything you say.

See, like this: I bought a trans-friendly pizza yesterday. I walked home on a sidewalk that supports trans people, and I washed my plate in a trans-positive dishwasher.

Not even joking, go on Tumblr and search "lgb" or "lesbian" and you will see people covering everything they say with "trans ally, terfs KYS".

edit: Everything has to be about trans people because according to TQ ideology, trans people are the most oppressed. The rest of us don't have problems worth talking about, according to them.

How do we decide how words are defined?

Is it based on authorities (dictionaries), or based on communiy perception? Descriptive or perscriptive? Because if the majority of people who are Bisexual are attracted to trans or non-binary people, or open to the idea, isn't that what bisexuality is?

Words can change over time/
