But if it provokes a backlash and fails, it will be perceived as a reaction against the "LGBT" movement, and sweep away freedom and rights for gays and lesbians along with them.

That is why organizations like LGB Allience must appear everywhere and must become louder and louder, making sure that everyone hearing that "TQ+ are not gays and lesbians, TQ+ are attacking gays and lesbians same way or even more severe that they are attacking you all, they are not part of us".

saying it makes them a woman is just false on the face of it

It only empowers gender stereotypes. That "man can not wear make up, so it must be a woman" or "girl can't be engineer and like playing soldiers, so it must be a boy", and so on. Nonbinaries and transgenders are solidifying gender stereotypes and sexism. Homosexuality is their main enemy as well, because homosexuality by just existing already breaking gender role stereotypes, so they need either change it or completely destroy. "LGBTQ+" in reality is "LGBvsTQ+" :D

Worst part is all the mutilated kids in UK and USA. Organizations like Mermaids must pay their price for such human experiments.

I see this as very important course of actions, if we do not want to get all LGB achievements to be revoked because of backlash against TQ+.
