I have empathy for them. Disliking features of your own body already sucks. I can only imagine how bad it must feel so dislike your entire sex and feel trapped in your own body.

Frankly I think they should be considered a third sex/gender. That way they can live the way they want and have their own spaces. At the same time they wouldn't be taking spaces from other groups. Of course, the community should also be more clear in its definitions of transexuality, and stop saying that people are trans just because they don't conform to gender norms.

I'm sure there are lots of nice trans people out there who don't agree with the TQ+ narrative and don't wanna take spaces from other groups. But I wish they'd be more vocal. If I saw many gay men trying to harass straight men into dating them I wouldn't remain silent.

I agree with pretty much all of this, I have a lot of empathy for trans people and I can see most of the time that they're extremely distressed and I think they would largely benefit from psychiatric help for dysphoria. I have trans friends who I like very much. Unfortunately (as usual) an aggressive, harmful vocal minority is setting the tone for the entire community.

People with distress are actually the minority in the current year. I know dysphoric people and transsexuals, and they are all very angry on current situation, they don't even have the voice in their own community, because crossdressers are now the face of the "T".
