Young trans people being pushed into surgeries and medical treatments by their parents just make me so sad. So many of these children will grow up to be miserable as a result of these experiments. Especially when you consider these are most likely HSTS and gender non-conforming children being sold lies, not the fetishists and homophobes we usually deal with.

I'm waiting for a "reckoning" about this, and people to wake up to the dangers of sacrificing GNC children to this ideology, but I'm not hopeful it will happen fast enough.

Same. It will come in the next 20 years, enough people are going to detransition and scream about it, enough kids of Munchausen moms (like James Younger) are going to grow up and expose the horrors they went through, to turn the tides. But in the meantime so many kids' lives are being destroyed and all we can do is type meaningless words on the internet. It really sucks. The legal system is failing these kids. The medical system is failing these kids. The school system is failing these kids. We are living in a dystopia.

I'm actually relieved that I wasn't born or a child around this time... I was a tomboy or "GNC" (not fond of predator based terms) growing up. Not that my mom would've made me transition but still... Shit like this, alongside the pushing for kids who don't play along with sex roles, be it in schools or online, would've been a bigger nightmare for me since pressure from TRAs is acceptable now apparently.
