Reminds me of an article about removing the word mother from mother’s day cards.

Waitrose is selling gender-neutral Mother’s Day cards as retailers reduce their use of the M-word to make today’s celebration more “transgender inclusive”. The supermarket chain is selling a “Happy You Day” card in its Mother’s Day range in which the word “mother” does not appear.

I read something last year about mother's day being non inclusive to trans women who are "mothers" and one woman wrote "My mother died so mother's day is difficult but I don't demand stores and people stop buying and selling mother's day cards and flowers because people like me lost their mothers". Why should we have to change a day that celebrates mother's because some men and "non binary" woman are unhappy with the word? why don't they ask for their own day, make it "parent day". But no, they want to take something from women.
