Omg your story is super similar to mine. I'm a lesbian too. I had posted my story on LGBDropTheT reddit before it got banned.

the funny thing is, if they had never banned me (or us) I wouldn't have found r/lgbtdropthet. I wouldn't have tried to know more about what was going on to lesbians on reddit and to women in general regarding the "queer" movement and the trans ideology. I wouldn't have opened my eyes so in a way I'm sooo thankful for that ban because I'm not missing on anything lol

Exactly the same with me lol. In my case, it was a post on AL claiming that lesbians can like dick. And I was like "what. The. Fuck."??? Then I heard there in the comments the term "genital preference"??? What the fuck again. Then I realised most of the comments were bi or pan or queer or trans women speaking FOR lesbians. What the fuck 3rd time. I started defending myself and explaining that that's not how sexual orientation works and eventually got banned. After that, I started researching too and found LGBDropTheT and was super relieved that I wasn't alone at all. Your story is basically the same as mine lol. One day, this madness will end, I don't know when... But one day this TQ+ madness will receive an enormous backlash

I hope the backlash comes but it looks like we still have a long way to go. It pains me to see that younger lesbians or girls questioning their sexuality will have these posts and these kind of people making them think that that is the norm for lesbians. It's blatantly homophobia at this point and lesbians are practically being coerced and intimidated to believe in this crap and to "open their dating pool to trans women because they are women" and if you don't comply you're labeled as a hateful bigot, a transphobe and a terf. Gay men too, it has apparently started for them too. But since they're still men, they're fighting back and not just being ran over like they did with the actuallesbians and lgbt subs on reddit. Many of people supporting this madness are extremely delusional in their crave for validation from others. Their whole personalities are based on their "gender identity". Who doesn't agree or comply with them gets the ban, is targeted or doxxed. Or worse, is told to "educate themselves" which basically translates into "go change your views and align them with mine because I am the one who's right here". They also claim that "absolutely no one says that lesbians can like dick. no one says you can't have 'genital preferences' (which no, my sexuality is not a genital preference, thanks). or that no one is stealing lesbian spaces or voices", they claim that we all make this shit up but then go and say and do all this shit. They're professional gaslighters and narcissists and many people still fall for it, especially lesbians who think they're doing the "right thing" by being "inclusive", because it's just human rights, right?

Yes, I totally agree with you - it will take a while :/. Nothing else to add!

A trans person I used to know is definitely narcissistic and dysfunctionally hungry for validation. It's sad because I cared about this person only to watch the toxicity slowly grow over the years until I made the decision to cut contact. And it's sad because people like this need actual help but get roped into TRA nonsense. Whether someone so narcissistic can be helped is debatable, but I watched this person slowly decline into worse and worse behavior that got reinforced instead of called out. It could have gone differently. I imagine it's much the same for others.
