It makes no sense for the "transwomen are women" crowd, but I've heard of transwomen who say they are women on gay/bisexual apps, which tbh, if they like men it's best they go for men who are into them which would be a gay/bisexual men. People love to make this myth that NO gay man would be into a transwomen, and they'd rather be with a trans man.

Do people not know that transwomen have always been in gay bars, hanging with gay men, looking for gay/bisexual guys? When i used to go to gay clubs with my friend, i'd always see transwomen there. Gay men don't even kick ACTUAL women out of clubs even though they may not want them there all the time. That makes zero sense.

It's more TRA's pushing that they are women, so gay men have no use for them like they feel gay men have no use for women, when it's not true at ALL. There was a youtube whose boyfriend only dated men before they got with a trans girl, they were claiming he was "Straight" and i'm like, "no, he obviously likes dick havers, you have a dick, he's gay/bisexual but he's just dating a feminine dude now"

This was once true but I don't see it anymore. Back in the day TW would hang out in gay bars because they lived most of their lives as gay men and that's where all their friends were, plus they were the only bars they could go to and not be ridiculed. These days if anyone said something mean to a trans person there'd be a pinknews article about it, the offender would be harrassed online and probably fired.

Haha you're right, I would at least see some drag queens there (or maybe I just assumed they were drag queens I guess.)

Here's the scene. It's way more cringier than I remembered.

"I'm sorry, we're not in drag, we're women" "Even better, we don't like women in here, we're a gay bar"

Wow, it's just like you said in response to me above. So you have to respect them as women... But you're also meant to accept them in a space where women aren't allowed? So, which one is it? Would they like it better if the waiter hd said "sorry, didn't notice you were a guy, now you're welcome here"?

And ugh the part about racism. They really needed to do that, uh? They always tie their issues with some other social issues too. So if someone points out how problematic the scene is, they can say "oh, so you think it's ok to segregate black people?".

It's the same with ftms, they have always been in lesbian clubs or bars and there's nothing wrong with that. They lived a significant portion of their lives as lesbians, it's easy to relate with them
