How about we care about how good a movie is, instead of caring about wether it ticks all the inclusivity boxes? I'm all for more inclusion, but not when it feels so forced.

And it has to tick all the boxes behind the scenes as well now. You can't, for example, have a white writer writing for a character who isn't white any more.

I get it, we need to see ourselves & Hollywood reinforces so much of American culture, but GLAAD can't have it both ways. You can't demand representation, and when you have it in the pipeline, shut it down because of casting decisions. The original L Word would never have gotten off the ground. Yeah I heard grumbling. I much preferred seeing lesbian actors take those roles too. Gotta say, I'm learning some valuable lessons here.
