As a lesbian, this is so refreshing to see. Gay men are NOT having it. The lesbian community is a sad reality nowadays. We can't have our own spaces... I'm very happy to see gay men standing up and not having it. We need this.

They are even talking about the trans takeovers of lesbian subs... it got mentioned a few times.

I noticed that too, and they mentioned "transbians" making violent threats towards lesbians who won't fuck them. It was nice to see them standing up for lesbians.

I saw it. It was very pleasant to watch my gay brothers defend us as well and refer to the abuse we were submitted to.

Almost like the L, G and B usually stand together due to similar histories and experiences and there's another letter causing problems within the community which is threatening to shatter the bonds if not kept in check. Really makes you think. 🤔

"T" for "toxic".

Gay men are NOT having it. The lesbian community is a sad reality nowadays.

It's almost as if biology is a real thing, and women are generally used to give in while men absolutely are not. :(

I'll say it again, I hope they keep going against gay men now. They'll make a bigger resistance than women.

I hate that you say such a thing, gay men are not "resisting more", the whole r/askgaybros. r/gaybros, etc subreddits are full of "trans-identified" females and TRAs telling gay men there's something "wrong with them" for not liking vagina. You and the people who say the same thing are wishing misery and ill on gay men just because we gay women are told to suck "girl dick". Why don't you yell for the "trans" to go after the straight/bi men instead of gay men? At least half of the male and female population are straight/bi. Did straight/bi women change anything? No. When most of the straight/bi men and straight/bi women have no problem with the "trans", how on earth can gay men change anything? Hmm? The thing is they can not. I'm a lesbian and I'm saying this. Yes the TRAs force their "girl dick" on me but never, NEVER, will I wish for gay men to be miserable like this, to be told to like "boy vagina". You know why? Because I know what it feels like to be miserable, and I can not let gay men feel this. I'm not going to make gay men be miserable just so they help me not be miserable, that's so disgusting on so many levels.

Gay men shouldn't be resisting, they at least should be free so at least we know a part of the group didn't get dirty by the "trans", they should not be forced to fight the battle other women and I can not win or just don't bother to win.

Your plan of TRAs going after the gay men will make things worse. Then gay men will lose all spaces, will be forced to be with women just because they're made to think "men can have vaginas". At least half of the human population are straight/bi and given they outnumber gay people, they are going to make a bigger change than gay men can do, meanwhile the whole world is against gay men. Most straight/bi men and straight/bi women are against gay men and oppress them. Instead of asking for straight/bi men and women to make a change, you're just making it worse for gay men by wishing for "trans-identified" females and TRAs to go after them more, to harass/attack them more, to make them think "there's something wrong with them" for not being with women.

I respect your opinion. But since my gender doesn't really feel like putting up a good fight, I need the other gender (who's biologically far more rebellious and aggressive) to pick up the battle. TRAs go after women because they know women don't really put up much of a fight. For the sake of women, I want TRAs to go after men. So they can understand our fight and help us.

[–]voi_che_sapete 11 insightful - 1 fun11 insightful - 0 fun12 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

It's not that we don't "feel like" putting up a good fight, it's that it's terrifying when we do. A lot of trans women have retained their male aggression and entitlement. Look at Fallon fucking Fox. GenderCritical was demonized to a degree far surpassing anything it actually did. We're told we are "violent" to trans women when the people killing trans women are basically straight dudes. They demand entitlement to us and get vicious if they don't get it.

Is "bull-dyke" considered derogatory? As a gay man who's known many a proud self-described dyke, I consider the term, like they do, to be a compliment.

If you really want to win for the sake of women, let the TRAs and the "trans" go after straight/bi men and women instead of gay men.

    [–]Ossidiana 12 insightful - 1 fun12 insightful - 0 fun13 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

They won't go after those because they ARE those.....

    [–]Peniless 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Right, straight/bi men outnumber gay men, they have no problem with the "trans" so no matter how much you let the TRAs and "trans" come after gay men, we will never win. Good luck seeing ourselves lose everyday but this time in the most embarrassing way possible because of your and other people's letting the "trans-identified" females and TRAs attack gay men and harass them as well, all for what? For thinking we had a chance to win at all, which we don't. You will end having made gay men miserable, I will end fighting against the "trans-identified" females and TRAs and stopping the ones I can stop from going after gay men, it's best to not let them make the spaces of gay men dirty with their ideology and themselves. I will end fighting for at least one group (gay men) not to be dirtied by the "trans".

They have been going after us gay men, we just haven't been having it, particularly because phalloplasty results are so poor.

They're going after ALL OF US, and the straights are next.

We need to stay united. The TRAs are a small percentage of society. They wield an out-sized stick, now, but are going to get a come-uppance soon.

Our sub seeks to champion LGB people of a variety of backgrounds, and want all of our LGB users to feel welcome. We do not allow specific ideological slang/terms to be used which may be used in a negative or divisive context. These include, but are not limited to: TIM/TIF, Timmy/Tiffany, MTT/FTT, etc

We suggest using the following terminology instead: trans-identified (fe)male, trans (wo)man, trans natal (fe)male, trans people, FTM / MTF

It the difference between males and females, females being socialized into being nice and bullshit like that.

Same. I was shocked to learn via that thread that there's a 'boxer ceiling' which corresponds with our 'cotton ceiling'.

Gay men obviously love penis and no poor facsimile will do. Phalloplasty is in its rudimentary stage and it creates faux-penises that hardly look like real ones, and certainly can't function like one.

I think MTFs who have vaginoplasty, etc. are received better because they at least have a faux-vagina, if only 4 inches deep that can look real.

(I knew a bull-dyke activist of decades who slept with an MTF and didn't know until told that her 'vagina' was constructed. She did wonder, however, why she was so tight and she could only get fingers in a little way.)

I do understand where you're coming from, but it honestly depends on how the surgery goes as far as the neovagina is concerned. Let me just say, I've never seen one (and I'm kind of frightened to see to be honest from what people have told me about it and the surgery itself). But I've heard plenty of people say that neovaginas don't look nothing like the real ones (there used to be evidence at r/neovaginadisasters (I think it was this name but it was also banned and I never took up the courage to look it up). I think if the trans person is lucky, she might have a vagina who "passes", but I would question and argue that's actually more of a minority rather than the norm? Also, obviously lesbians are the opposite - I don't want to go nearby penis or anything that has anything of a penis even if it "looks somehow" like a vagina (neovagina). I think it's very dishonest of her partner not to tell the lesbian about the neovagina. I would be pissed.
