Wikipedia continues their erasure/promotion of Marsha:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LGBT_rights_activists

  • Marsha P. Johnson (August 24, 1945 – July 6, 1992) was an American gay liberation activist and transgender woman. Known as an outspoken advocate for gay rights, Johnson was one of the prominent figures in the Stonewall uprising of 1969.

As a l lesbian in my sixties who spent much time fighting for both women’s and LGB rights; I am losing hope in stopping this erasure of both. I know I shouldn’t, but I now see pronouns listed for many public figures (she/her he/him ) in every tweet or comment. Anyone with suggestions to how I can get out of this pit?

um, remind yourself of Jeremy Corbyn's asinine insistence on declaring his pronouns each and every time he made a public statement and how very, very badly alienated his party's core demographic of sane, working class people to the point where they elected Boris Johnson, a goofier bastardized version of Donald Trump, just to spite Corbyn and Labour's self-anointed smugfuckery.

always make me smile to remember that the majority will continue to swat the daylights out of woqueness on the grandest of stages.

The specific Wikipedia page on lists Johnson as "variably identified as gay, as a transvestite, and as a queen (referring to drag queen)." So there's an discrepancy on Wikipedia between the Marsha P Johnson page and the mini biographical synopsis on that "List of LGBT rights activists" page.
