How many ppl are actually here? I hate reddit

I used reddit since 2011 or so, it used to be an aight place but now its just cry babies who downvote disputing ideas and opinions. But idk where to go besides reddit.

Reddit is full of astroturfed garbage. There was a BS takedown of the mods of r/PresidentialRaceMemes that happened yesterday just as the sub became decidedly anti-Biden and now a Reddit employee is the official mod while they "recruit" new ones.

I know I feel the same way. I keep thinking we have reached peak ridiculousness on reddit and then some subtle new twist appears.

I kind of wish it had all fallen apart at once like digg did. The fact it's decaying so glacially slowly is the only reason it's still around, imo

I think one of the big issues on why it doesnt just collapse is there really isnt anywhere for people to go. Several places are trying to be the replacement, but the content just doesnt seem to flow.

Remember when you would see actual news on reddit before anywhere else? Saidit is not quite there yet but it has hope.

Most of the posts on this site are anti-vax but it still is so much better than what reddit has become.
