In the last 2-3 days, I've had to access Saidit in a private Firefox window to avoid an endless "cloudflare loop". I imagine it's stumbling over one of my anti-tracking extensions.

All these 'data-protection' outfits are ZOG anyway.

endless "cloudflare loop"

Which browser? I observed this behavior in Falkon.

Firefox 136.0.4 on Linux.

I'm currently running on the older Firefox 115.0.2 / Linux, which has not had a problem with Cloudflare looping. I did see it in Falkon. It's ironic that the newer version you have put you into the loop. Not all updates are an improvement.

Pretty sure that's just an issue of reloading the page that cloudflare redirected to after the security check, which will usually cause it to respond with an error. Navigating to a different page or explicitly navigating to the same page will then allow the token to work as expected. Try wiping cookies instead and see what happens.

Did you look at the source code to tell if you can figure out what the actual host of this website is

Cloudflare hides Saidit's true IP address. Even if you knew the IP address to attempt a direct connection, the server would refuse to serve up content.

Wef owns cloudflare

How did you come to that conclusion?

institutional investors as a group hold the largest overall stake in Cloudflare, controlling roughly 74% of the company, with major players like Vanguard, BlackRock, and Baillie Gifford & Co. also among the top holders.

I was able to replicate this but I could not sign in to post anything. The mono direction of the data would suggest no issues to worry about.

Where you able to post anything though Elink?

Thanks for confirming. I did not try logging in with Elinks, so I also did not post to Saidit with that browser. But I was surprised that Cloudflare allowed this old browser to actually see some content on their guarded website.

This test shows that it is possible to bypass Cloudflare's security check without any Javascript running. Elinks does not consistently circumvent Cloudflare, so I'm not sure if this has any practical use.
