A libfem is not happy about a male talking about period shaming: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EyW-Z8dWEAILmjO?format=jpg&name=medium

I wonder when she is going to stop being so blind.

So it is okay for men to claim to be women without the lived experience of being women but she draws the line at letting them claim menstruation without the lived experience of menstruation? Maybe one day she will realized that once you give in to that kind of magical thinking, it is no longer possible to draw boundaries.

I don't know about India's cultural attitudes to periods so I can't say if he's wrong or right about that (and I don't believe in discrediting people on other subjects just because of their delusions and beliefs), but I will say it's illogical to apply his own trans narrative and experiences to what females go through.

He claims to be a doctor and I am sure he thinks he has the authority to speak about that subject.

However, there are millions of female doctors and obgyns, why not approach one of them?
