I would say there's SOME sanity going on in the comments. I kept seeing ones that were like "well it's about her economic status right? The way OP worded could be seen as transphobic, etc". I can't believe people were defending this very selfish individual who never grew up poor, as a girl, or underprivileged in any way. Dana's validation as a woman seemed more important to a lot of those commenters than the fact that this event was on the brink of cancellation because of Dana's whining.

Why do people not understand that saying a transwoman did not have the same experience growing up as a biological woman is not hate? It's fact.

Even the ones who recognise that Dana was raised as male think he is really a woman, just not the most fit for this talk.

It's good to see push back from people who are hopefully on their way to peak trans as they encounter some of the outrageous assertions made by TRAs. I hope the readers see here how ironic it is that TRAs seeking to "fight the minimization of the trans struggle" maximize said 'trans struggle' in every space they possibly can.

But there's sad stuff too, like the woman meekly changing "biological woman" to "cis woman" like that's some huge slight towards trans people even though she likely already believes all the other stupid shit already.
