The CBC has jumped on the Woke / Queer Theory bandwagon. Every week there are multiple flowery profiles of trans-identified males. Right now, on their website, there's a profile of Amanda Jette Knox and her messed up family, a story about a white, straight married woman who identifies as 'queer' and 'doesn't fit in' because of it, and a story about a trans boy who was 'misgendered' on some school software and now feels 'harmed'.

I've posted on LGBDroptheT about the CBCs 'Queeries' series, which features articles 'excoriating white gay culture' for it's 'toxic, unchecked privilege'.

Jonathan Kay has discussed how funding cuts and industry precarity have meant the only people who are willing to work at outlets like the CBC are young, ideologically driven people who are the driving force behind this kind of 'reporting'.

They also have segments on "drag kids" targeted to kids during the CBCkids segments. I can't wait until the CBC is no longer funded by taxes.

edit: I just read those articles. First world problems all over the place, especially the "Queer Mom" (what does that even mean? She listens to Janis Joplin and watches Dear White People? lmao).

Right? And I used to be such a big supporter of the CBC.
