It's probably because Silicon Valley is full of TiMs, and there's been speculation that The Powers That Be in the tech industry can fill their diversity quota for "women" by hiring TiMs.

I’ve heard this and kind of inherently sensed it too, but are you aware of any statistics?

Like who else is moderating these Reddit subs

Apparently a sub Reddit ironically called something like r/againsthatesubs is behind the banning of the gendercritical and LGBdroptheT subs on Reddit. We've had a discussion about Reddit banning women's subs before on this sub. Let me see if I can find the original post and post it again.

Right. I'm particularly interested in aggregated statistics about trans-identified moderators of forums and subreddits, as well as the prevalence of trans-identification in tech jobs.
