You need to start with how you define "kink", before you ask. But yes, age play is unrelated to paedophilia. The evidence is trustworthy, as most of it has been laid down by psycho-sexual scientists and researchers. Age play and adult baby play is linked to masochism instead of paedophilia.

False. Arousal from imagining oneself as a child or baby is extremely common among pedophiles.

That isn't age-play, however. Which is what the OP asked about.

Are you seriously saying that despite the fact that autopedophilia is extremely common among pedophiles, no pedophiles are acting out their paraphilia?

I asked for a specific source to validate the claim.

Also, I was mainly curious about people who play the "adult" role, and evidently they're not masochists. But they're literally aroused from their partner pretending to be a child.

They are sadists or dominants, and no, they are mainly aroused by the submission of their partners.

Try Ray Blanchard and Kurt Freund. Both established the difference between paedophiles and age play/infantilism already in the 1990s.

Thanks for recommending Freund. I've read Blanchard before though
