Yeah, seems like quite a few people sympathise with her.. . S u r p r i s e.

Her new book just arrived today, can't wait to read it. I think I'll also get a new set of the Harry Potter books, just because.

Same. I had kind of rekindled my liking for Stephen King, but ya. I found his lack of support for a colleague really uninspiring.

Almost double the first week sales of the previous book in the series. xD Oop.

Also, 65,000 is a fecking lot for a book. I mean, for one of the best selling authors in the world, maybe not so much, lmao. But like, to even get on the New York Times Bestselling list is only several thousand books, like 5000.

Yeah that'd be all those friggin idiots telling all their TRA friends and "trans allies" to buy up as many books as they can so that they can all burn them while JKR bats her eyelashes at her newly huge stack of royalty checks.

Dear lord but their idiocy pleases me.

Nah, vast majority of people aren’t aware of this bullshit going down or ignore it.

Plus most of the TRA and their friends don’t seem to have jobs tbh, lotta gofundme circle jerks

Also, Chappelle just won an Emmy for the special he did that the reviewers poo-poohed because of "transphobia". More of this stuff needs to happen to show that these people do not represent the majority even though they're shouting through the biggest bullhorns.

Lol brick and mortar bookstores are not carrying her books as protest?? Can they afford to? Who the fuck goes to bookstores anymore? They need to get their heads out of their asses.

The moral of the story -- people who know how to read are pretty much all TERFs.

They haven't been able to cancel her but it's not for the lack of trying. I'm glad that someone like JK spoke up, because things will only get worse if there's no pushback.

From Are women still persons? when sex based feminism becomes verboten

Feminism has now become morally reprehensible to the woke wahhabist left, which, in its jacobin style, has powerful corporate and political backing—misogyny has reached such a peak that the words ‘female human’ trigger a storm of nasty reaction from trans activists, who insist it’s nothing but a common anti-trans dogwhistle to invalidate trans women’s existence. In fact, one book reviewer recently received a directive to stop using the word ‘female’ in her reviews, apparently the word female has pejorative connotations—of course, this is woke code for ‘excludes trans people’. Anyone deemed invalidating to the trans narrative automatically becomes anti trans. Promoting female sex based rights invalidates the trans creation myth and therefore JK Rowling has earned demon’s wings for her heresy. The mere statement ‘I heart JK Rowling’ has now come to represent stoking hatred, exclusion and division

You have brain-addled TRAs spouting that women's history belongs to trans women because of BS critical theory. There's a book called Cynical Theories on just this that I may read.

Never would have even known of these books without TRA’s. Ordered the first in the series and I’m enjoying it.

I was at my local bookstore (new & used books) yesterday. Someone had just traded in a complete set of Harry Potter books. I'll check back for them once they're shelved. It would make it a special set, don't you think?

I just got it in the library today! It's really long.

This is all good publicity because without it I would have never read any of her adult work and now I already finished the first book in the Cormoran Strike series. It wasn't great tbh, but it was enjoyable enough that I will read the others too someday.

I literally just ordered that book solely for this reason. I had written off JK a bit in the last years because I didn't like what she did with the Harry Potter universe and all her weird new ideas that she supposedly already planned 20 years ago while writing the book, all of it clearly untrue. But, at least her stance in this topic I can fully agree on and support.
