I tried to find information about Sharon Franklin-Brown's background, career, qualifications, political affiliations, etc. Was interested in things like his education and professional accomplishments. Didn't find much (yet), but did see that he has a wordpress site, which contains this under the heading "Biography":

Honest, unrelenting, and unapologetic, Sharon Franklin Brown has endured a lifetime of prejudice, beginning with verbal attacks as an effeminate black youth in rural Louisiana, and following her throughout college, the US military, and into the corporate and political world. Through her art, poetry, and unwavering faith in herself, Sharon Franklin has managed to roll with the punches and make a life for herself in The City of Angels, Los Angeles. Despite her many successes and claims to be living life on her own terms, at 47, Sharon finds herself in a decade long relationship with a man who is unable to commit to her and for over 20 years has been engaged in a Cold War type conflict with a majority of her closest relatives upon revealing her true identity as a transgender woman.

Through observational and self-shot diary style footage an intimate, humorous, and eye-opening portrait of Sharon Franklin Brown’s life is revealed forcing us to confront our prejudices, challenge heteronormativity, face inimitable insight into the reality of transgenderism, and become cognizant of our collective desires to love and be loved in return.

This strikes me as so strange. I cannot imagine any woman in any line of work, particularly not a professional with political aspirations, portraying her life in this way. I mean, what middle-aged woman would say,

"Honest, unrelenting, and unapologetic, Mary Jones has endured a lifetime of prejudice, beginning with sexual harassment, constant catcalling, groping, objectification and verbal abuse as a normally-developing pubescent girl in X place, and following her through (unnamed) college and the world of work, where she was prevented from being considered for various posts due to her sex, suffered pregnancy and maternity discrimination, and on a daily basis was talked over by her male colleagues, who stole her ideas and work and claimed them as her own whilst they constantly hit on her, perved on her and asked her to do all the office admin work as well as make the coffee and keep the mini-fridge clean... (But) despite her many successes and claims to be living life on her own terms, at 47, May finds herself in a decade long relationship with a man who is unable to commit to her and for over 20 years has been engaged in a Cold War type conflict with a majority of her closest relatives upon revealing her true identity as a full human being deserving of equal rights..."

I get the sense that the elder gays are fed up with the trans narrative taking over. For instance, there was a spat among West Hollywood residents and officials when the trans colors were painted at an intersection without permission.

I think that's why Trans, Inc., is also going after white gay men - to preemptively shut them up, because the trans activist lobby knows that elder gays are relatively powerful, know their gay history because they lived it and know that trans had little to no part in it. Also that elder gays are same-sex attracted and have no use for the idea that a gay person is attracted to gender identity not biological sex.

Black Trans Women.

Excluded from the black community for being gay.

Excluded from the gay community for being too effeminate.

Attacked and objectified by the closeted men who use them for sex.

Trying to use this group as the perfect oppressed minority victims is only going to back fire on the woke because you simply can't improve their lives without looking at the cultural issues within other favored oppressed minority groups which have nothing to do with their grand post structural narrative.

LA Pride for many years seems to have had nothing to do with the lives of normal people who happen to be gay. The kink and trans exhibitionists have taken over.
