I think we lost the war (in California) a long time ago. Women in prison are one of the most vulnerable people, addicts, victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse and sometimes, they are just there because they defended themselves ... and were already exploited by prison's staff in atrocious ways, they just let the foxes in the chicken pen without a single considerations for women. But we can document now the consequences of that atrocity so that it is not repeated anywhere else in US, gather testimonies of women subjected to vile TiMs. Californian elected officials who voted for that stuff will never be held accountable for the lives of women their ruined unfortunately.

I'm sorry but after things like that nobody in their right minds can ask me to vote for Biden or democrats anymore, and I won't.

The California state legislature, well, the Democrats, always manage to come up with some fresh hell for women, so I'm going to keep an eye on them.

California actually has one of the lowest voter participation rates in the nation, and about 40% of Californians do not speak English at home, meaning that there's a huge untapped immigrant vote, most of whom do not want men in women's spaces

Imagine if women's rights advocates could harness all those current non-votes? Let's do it.
