I would hate to think that women might only win cases for female-only services if it's on religious grounds though.

the whole situation is unique to the Hasidic community...the Hasidic women who fought for this aren't familiar with gender critical feminism, some of them probably dont even call themselves feminists. they just saw a need for an all female ambulance and they fought for it...and since religion influences every aspect of Hasidic life, they cited the modesty of Hasidic culture as a reason that they need the ambulance license
