This is clearly a subject that she doesn't feel like discussing further, and we have to learn to be respectful of boundaries. How is it okay to automatically assume that someone is only here for the purpose of "getting mad at people or something" when they've only chosen to decline further conversation with you about a particular topic and prefer you seek out your own resources? Journals are your friend.

No one was having a discussion about testosterone and male suicide rates. You went off on a tangent and expected her to be interested in that tangent with you. She's not. I suspect most of us aren't.

This is also problematic framing: "Compared to men, all women have 'abnormally' low testosterone levels." Women aren't men. We don't have abnormally low testosterone levels. We have the levels that our healthy for a woman's system. Your framing makes me wonder how you came to be on the GC board.

Well, she discussed her point and then drew a line on going into further details. Just consider it an opportunity to pick up the eggs she left and look up information about them.
