I have concluded all "women's magazines" are just designed to make us feel bad

They found a new way to make women feel bad.

Yeah this time by making us feel bad for existing.

Women used to just be shamed for what we looked like on the outside, now our internal organs are shameful as well. Progress :D We used to just have to feel bad if we weren't feminine enough, now we also have to apologize if we're too feminine.

This is what happens when companies assume Twitter represents the general population. In reality they’re going to turn more and more women off and serve as wank material for AGPs.

This is probably what annoys me most on a personal level. This and the infiltration of trans ideology among young children.

All the “women’s” mainstream magazines seem to be tainted now.

Tbh the silly disclaimers about genitals are way down the list of what makes magazines like this harmful to women and girls. So-called "women's" magazines exist for women to read, but for the patriarchy to benefit from. Actual magazines for women like B!itch, Curve, and Lilith have a hard time staying in business because our psychological well-being isn't profitable.

The names could be different? The B word one I would never buy.

What do you mean the names could be different? The magazines I mentioned are ones that have already been publishing under those names for decades. If you have recommendations for print publications for feminists, lay 'em on me.

I mean the content probably might be great but I would not buy a magazine titled by that. The B word has misogynistic implications. You mentioned that those magazines have a hard time selling, might not be the problem of content as much as the title. It’s off putting. Some words are better buried than reclaimed.

Of the 3 mentioned, I think that one is the one that's doing the best at staying afloat, ironically. Regardless, feminist magazines of various names are having a lot of trouble competing with patriarchal drivel that teaches women to be pretty and serve men.

Of course it's staying afloat, they post content about TW that's written by TW.

Do they? I didn't know that. When did that start?

I don’t remember when it was but it’s been a few years now. Disappointing but not surprising.

Anyone else noticed that the lesbian flag is also being changed to be more inclusive to TRA’s?
