To be fair, I felt the same way when I was younger. I was frustrated with all of the constant negative messaging that was aimed my way. I felt frustrated that anytime something was marked "for women", it immediately meant that it became a space where there were constant discussions about sexual assault/feeling powerless. I was irritated that people never focused on providing constructive advice to women that would make them more capable of defending themselves, and women were never challenged to better themselves.

Then, I got a bit older. I had a few more experiences. I realized a few things.

It's just a perspective issue.
