After Brexit made the reddit UK sub full of politics they opened up a casualUK sub where politics is banned. We could do something similar. Feminists not talking about feminism, religion or politics.

They did have a comedy Irish freemasons group called the Holy Order of the Lemon which admitted women. Maybe we should call it that.

I love this idea! Except for completely banning talking about feminism, because I just cant stop viewing media from a feminist lens now.. not in a militant everything is problematic kind of way, but just including it in the discussion. For example how female centric shows changed over time, or making memes that joke about people acting like some new movie is the first ever to discover the female protagonist. I would love to be part of the Holy Order of the Lemon.

I second NOT excluding radfem perspective. There were tremendous women in media to be remembered and emulated. Kathleen Hite (born 1917): the first female staff writer at CBS network. She is credited with writing 42 episodes of Gunsmoke, from 1955-1965 - the tight storied black and white episodes. As a teaser....
